Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion is open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. To enter this promotion, entrants must:
    1. Scan the QR code displayed across John West branding at Féile Na nGael and Féile Peil na nÓg.
    2. Or follow the URL link provided on Social Media channels posts and referring to the same promotion.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. The Promotion begins at 00:01 on 20.06.24 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59 on 01.07.24.
  5. Winners will be chosen at random on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 from all eligible entries received using online random selection tool and supervised by an independent agency appointed by the promoter. Winner will be notified within 24 hours.
  6. There are FIVE John West Féile Jersey to be won. The prizes will be issued within 28 days of the initial communication with the chosen winner.
  7. Each entrant will also receive access to a free downloadable nutrition plan developed and created by John West in conjunction with trained nutritionists. The promoter will not accept any responsibility for any technical issues users may experience in attempting to download their nutrition plan arising from any local Wi-Fi, outdated software or personal device issues.
  8. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize.
  9. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  10. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.
  11. Prize winner must provide correct telephone number and email address for the purpose of fulfilling the prize.
  12. The decision of the promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.
  13. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.
  14. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, or there is any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
  15. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded.
  16. If the chosen winner fails to respond to all attempts to contact them within 48 hours the chosen winner agrees to forfeit their prize and prize will be redrawn randomly again using the same process set out in point 5.
  17. Prize winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material both on and offline.
  18. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent/you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable.
  19. These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.

  1. By entering into this promotion entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The competition will be run from Saturday 24th of June (starting at 00.00) until Saturday 1st of July (no later than 23.59) (“Promotional Period”).
  3. How to Enter:
    1. Scan the QR code (URL: https://shop.john-west.ie/feile-2023/) and answer correctly both of the 2 questions displayed on the landing page to be automatically entered in to the draw. Where your name is drawn from a database of all entrants you will be contacted and required to correctly answer a question in order to claim the prize.
    2. There will be one database from which entries will be drawn made up of entrants who will have scans the codes at the various locations where the QR code will appear.
    3. The QR code will be displayed the 2023 John West Féile finals on the Feile programme, Féile branded banners and branded display.
  4. The John West Ireland Féile Nutrition Plan QR code Promo (“Promotion”) is open only to residents of the Republic of Ireland over the age of 18, excluding employees and their immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children & spouse regardless of where they live) of John West ISI Ltd. & the GAA (GAA Páirc an Chrócaigh Croke Park Baile Átha Cliath 3 Dublin 3), their agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. Where an entrant is drawn from the database and is contacted their eligibility will be questioned before they are asked the question of skill. Where an entrant is deemed ineligible they will not be asked a question of skill and another entrant will be drawn.
  5. The Promoter is John West Ireland Limited trading as ISI Limited (the “Promoter”) having its place of business at 14 Classon House Dundrum Business Park, Dublin 14.
  6. In total there is 1 prize to be won. The entrant acknowledges by accepting these Terms and Conditions that the prize is as outlined below, being [prize] (the “prize”). The prize that the 1 winner will receive is detailed as follows:

  7. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. Only one prize per winner per household.
  8. The successful entrants will be notified by letter and/or by telephone according to the contact details supplied by the successful entrant, within 14 days of the closing date of the relevant prize draw and upon receiving the letter/phone call they must answer a question of skill and text back the response to redeem their prize. The successful entrants will have 72 hours to redeem their prize in accordance with the instructions from the Promoter by replying to the question of skill. If the successful entrants do not redeem their prize within this time period, the Promoter reserves the right to pick another entrant.
  9. Entry is free however depending on your internet provided allowance entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local charges by their internet provider depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.
  10. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may invalidate an entry and/or result in a forfeit of the prize.
  11. For a list of winners please send a stamped envelope to John West Ireland Limited trading as ISI Limited (the “Promoter”) having its place of business at 14 Classon House Dundrum Business Park, Dublin 14.
  12. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries which are illegal, incomplete or damaged and these entries will not be accepted.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend, and extend this promotion.
  14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of its negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the Promotion or in connection with the prize, including but not limited to as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize. The Promoter provides no warranty as to the fitness or condition of the prize.
  15. The GAA (GAA Páirc an Chrócaigh Croke Park Baile Átha Cliath 3 Dublin 3) acknowledge that John West Ireland shall be entitled to refer the recipients of the prize to GAA in connection with any claims/complaints etc. that may be received by or made against the Promoter in relation to the prize.
  16. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including the Promotion), existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law.
  17. The Courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
